Takeda will depart the area by the end of the year, taking its 1,000 positions to the Boston area. Walgreens and Mondelez International are moving 1,300 and 400 jobs, respectively, to Chicago’s core, following other national and international firms once headquartered in sunny suburban locales.

Selle is missing the forest for the trees. Partisan left wing ‘woke’ politicians in Lake County don’t care about this because they want those workers and those companies gone. Big Pharma is evil, driving cars to the parking lot for that big, ‘ungreen’ office damages the environment, and many of the office workers are likely republican voting middle class. BE GONE they say! In the meantime, look over here, we’re going to ban a civil war reenactment because ‘history’ offends snowflakes.
