The prosperity along Oak Street may bring some relief to the Magnificent Mile, which is struggling with a number of empty storefronts, said John Vance, principal at Stone Real Estate Corp. The Magnificent Mile’s retail vacancy rate is about 25%.

Not shown behind the front glass doors are security doors that look like a bank vault. Same with the side door. I’m guessing the windows are also security windows.
