The prisons are full of murderers and terrorists, costing the taxpayers over $100,000 per year to house them in private prisons, like the one that gave Tom Homan a $50,000 cash bribe to keep them coming. But with the whole country buried in debt thanks to Reagan’s, Bush’s, and Trump’s tax cuts to billionaires, there is no money left in the budget to spend a million dollars to prosecute and incarcerate shoplifters and wife beaters in the County’s, State’s, or Chicago City Prison where my great uncle was the Warden.
