Man in custody after driving unauthorized vehicle on NASCAR race track, Chicago police say – ABC7 (Chicago)

Police said a 46-year-old man drove an unauthorized vehicle through a barrier and onto the track, which was not being used at the time.

Sounds like he got more time on the track than some of the actual race drivers. The whole disastrous idea was a literal washout. An appropriate send-off for Lightfoot, whose entire time in office was a washout.
