Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The only trigger than will get rid of these completely ineffective and highly destruction mandates will be primary opponents all promising to do the same. There’s a slight chance this could happen, or they could all just virtue signal themselves too, extolling the virtue of feeling better about spreading covid only to vaccinated people. I hope that when my uber-liberal shetlib 88 year old aunt, a total covidian 100x vaxxed, catches covid and goes on a vent, I hope she feels better about about it because she caught it from a fellow triple vaxxed covidian.
Side note-Does anyone know what this bill entails? Some sort of vaccination status database. Will we if passed lose more of our privacy? Not sure.
