Mayor Brandon Johnson blames past administrations after rating agency’s negative budget outlook – Chicago Tribune*

“If you’ve never been in a position to have to choose whether or not you’re going to have lunch for your children or rent, then you may not ever fully understand the impetus behind this budget," he said.

I’ve been in a position as to whether get an expensive haircut and manicure or pay my water bill. I paid my water bill.

The point being that budget whiz Johnson, with his sage advice on how to fix CHI’s financial ills, decided his personal grooming took precedence over paying a 3K water bill.

Yeah, it’s everyone else. Everything he has done and said has made perfect sense. It’s everyone else, they did it. I am a victim. Useless POS. The rating agencies are just catching up on their accuracy, perhaps the fees Jumbo paid for ratings have expired and now a more current evaluation can be done.

I love the way the Trib runs this as a real story and not some onion-like parody of stupidity. If you cut the Trib into small pieces it is a perfect substitute for Scott’s.
