Tax everything for you can to fund public pensions. Better get it while you can, as the rich are fleeing in ever increasing numbers. The replacement is the poor illegal immigrant. They have little ability to be taxed.
This tax has been in place for 30 years. Pritzger, in a “look at me, I really care about you poor bastards who aren’t rich enough to pull stunts like removing toilets to avoid property tax” moment, stuck it to every public entity that has used revenue from the tax to keep their organizations afloat.
