Mayor Johnson defends push for ‘democracy zones’ at polling places days before Election Day – Chicago Sun-Times

Voters fill out forms before casting their ballots for the primary election at the early voting supersite in the Loop, Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026. “The provocation really is just looking at what’s coming from the federal government where the president has made it very clear that he wants to suppress the vote of working people, and even more dramatic, that he’s very clear about targeting Black and Brown folks,” the mayor told reporters.

The moron democratic voters of this state should ask themselves, why does this guy not want law enforcement anywhere near voting places? Why wouldn’t making the environment safer for voters be a good thing? What could possibly be the motivation of a mayor to not want their citizens safer? It is ridiculous. The Pinhead is just doin – what – Pinheads do…

The sky is falling. The sky is falling. Says Mayor Braindead. He should be talking about the cities credit rating instead of voting

As a distraction from his horrible performance, Johnson doesn’t miss an opportunity to drum up discord and hysteria over the oppressive Jim Crow government and its Grand Wizard Klansman, Trump. He really is a clown worthy only of contempt.

Am 1690 is really great to listen to the callers about how the Republicans wonts to steal our votes. Zero perspective of how their entire voting constituency is Democrat and that there is zero Republican presents for 20 miles. Such great listening.

I’m sure said listeners are the “DEI squealers “ that don’t know or choose to ignore that CHI has an overwhelming number of blacks in office and it’s employ compared to the fact that blacks are third in population in the city behind whites and Latinos. They are always crying about a situation that benefits them much more than it should.

The guy’s illiterate. Doesn’t he realize that Chicago is basically a one-party state, especially in the city? It’s fascinating to see them so fully convinced by their own dogma.
