A large area extending beyond the Loop has travel restrictions due to the George Floyd protestors as reported on WGN TV Channel 9, 9PM news today.
Akin to the City of Chicago indefinite nightly curfew from 9PM – 6AM, where’s that information on the City of Chicago website?
The curfew hours did appear on Mayor Lightfoot’s Twitter.

Mayor Lightfoot imposed an indefinite nightly curfew in the City from 9PM – 6AM, announced during a press conference on Saturday May 30, 2020, but there’s no indication of the indefinite curfew on the City’s home page?

“Pace Service Suspended Until Further Notice MAY 31: In the interest of public safety, all Pace service will stop operating by 6:30 P.M. until further notice.
Passengers currently riding will be taken to their stop.”

A little before 8PM Metra cancelled service for Monday June 1, 2020.
“For the safety of the public and our employees, and because of municipal restrictions that are limiting the ability of our workers to reach job sites, Metra is suspending all service on Monday, June 1.
We will provide updates on Monday about Tuesday service.”

“Starting at 6:30 p.m., CTA will suspend service on all CTA bus routes and rail lines at the request of public safety officials.
Service is expected to resume tomorrow morning.

What indication is there that she has failed at anything? I don’t for one second believe that she cares about looting or the regular citizens of Chicago. She cares about the third worlders and the perverts.

Never assign intent to an action that can be otherwise be blamed on incompetence. Lori actually believed that her progressive constituency was a peaceful bunch of protestors honoring the death of George Lloyd. She and her ilk truly believe this. Blows my mind people can be so stupid and incompetent.
