Look at the first two priorities Lori sights in describing her new Chief of Staff–“equity” and “inclusion”. No mention of experience in dealing with unions. No mention of crime or law enforcement background. No mention of ability to get things done for the City in Springfield. No mention of any finance, infrastructure or city council experience.

When her top priorities are “equity” and “inclusion”– no wonder the city is collapsing in every material way.

Your priorities: negotiation with unions, law enforcement, springfield politics, finance & infrastructure – these are the priorities coming from a place of white privilege.

For Lori, it’s better to live in a Detroit governed by BIPOC than a Chicago with any white people in powerful positions.

Unfortunately, most progressives are unhappy with Lori, because she is taking too long to completely destroy Chicago.
