Mayor Lori Lightfoot Says ‘F You’ To Donald Trump For Tweet Encouraging Gunfire At George Floyd Protests – Block Club Chicago

She went on to call Trump’s response to the subsequent protests and riots in Minneapolis a “profoundly dangerous” effort to stoke racial tensions and throw “red meat” to his base while endangering the lives of Black Americans and other protesters.

He wants to show failures on the part of Democratic local leaders,” said Lightfoot.

You wants it, you gets it.

When the looting starts, the shooting starts which is exactly what happened. Pawn shop owner shoots 2 men attempting to loot his business. Isnt that exactly what the president said? News media twists and turns statements to fit their liberal agenda.

You madam mayor are the racist you are trying to have unrest in Chicago your alderman should call a special session and have you immediately resign, in fact I’m calling on you to resign for official misconduct. You know what f you lady

Pandering to the mob. She is a goof. Governing, Lori, means you need to speak truth to insanity. It means you need to unite. To stare animals in the face and remind them protest is not violent, it is not destructive, and it is meant to inspire POSITIVE change. Lori, you are a disappointment.

This can easily happen in Chicago. Lori would encourage it. Scary stuff

The truthful headline would read “. . . for tweet supporting containment of rioter lawlessness.”

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
