Yes, Lori is really ready and well prepared for this weekend. She has been practicing pointing her finger and has her hateful angry voice all ready to go. She has several speeches prepared with various items of blame. She will be able to grab an appropriate speech to blame Trump and call him a filthy name, blame conservatives and call them names, blaming inanimate objects as if they were jumping up and killing people by themselves and blaming global warming as the cause of so many gang murder deaths. The innocent victims are necessary collateral damage in the social justice war against inequity. Or some BS like that, according to the people you listed.
If this is what equity looks like, I don’t it. I’ll take inequity 24/7 before I have another of equity.
A friend in South Carolina just told me he would not allow his daughter to go to Univ of Chicago next year. Said he and his wife could not sleep for four years knowing where their daughter was. I wonder how many other parents feel the same way about Chicago area schools.
I met two UChicago students in Ft. Collins on a trip recently, and they both told us they essentially never leave campus so they do their best to travel all over when they can (but not in Chicago). I could never imagine going through Uni like that, so your friend has a point.
