Mayor’s proposal to relocate migrants from downtown shelter to Chicago’s South Side faces opposition – NBC5 (Chicago)

Located just blocks away from Guaranteed Rate Field, the proposed shelter would be located in a building near Canal Street and Pershing Road. “This is just insane, it doesn’t make any sense,” said resident Michelle Gusich. “Keep them downtown. I don’t know—this is not our problem.”

Just relocate them inside of G Spot Field. Have the state pay for their “admission” to the field, count it as attendance for Sox games, have the “ticket revenue” count towards the G Spot ticket sales formula. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, but if you voted for Brandon or didn’t vote at all, it is your problem.

Looks like a great location. Would they rather have an empty building there? And it’s isolation means:

1. It won’t really bother anyone
2 It’s easier to focus support and protection, I would think.
