Chapin Rose worries about radar disruption for tracking tornadoes and concerns the turbines can kill wildlife like raptor birds. “Why is that important, because they're the ones who keep all the other species in check. They’re the ones that eat mice and rats that prevent vermin from spreading disease. Oh, monarch butterflies, let’s screw that up too. Why is that important? Because we need to eat.” Rose said local jurisdictions are already doing what’s best for their jurisdictions.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
