While some reports say the fines for noncompliance by an employer could be up to $14,000 per infraction, Illinois Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Todd Maisch said it could be much more. Maisch also said the rule published and in effect Friday opens the door for a flood of COVID liability lawsuits against employers. “It allows someone to go ahead and charge that their employer didn’t execute on the mandate as well as they should have and consequently they received COVID in the workplace." It’s expected there will be lawsuits opposing the rule.
I work from my home for a company based out of another state over 1000 miles away where my agreement with the employer is that I’ll never be required to go into the office. Since my employer has a contract with the government my employer requires me to be vaccinated, no testing option. Again, I work from home and I will never be in the same room as any of my co-workers. Insanity. This employer couldn’t find someone with my skills in their local area so they extended the search to a nationwide one and they still had a hard… Read more »

As everyone knows, this whole thing was bungled from day one. Big projects are not free of bumps, but the Democrats are running this off a cliff. Nobody can articulate what they’re doing and why! Anyone asking a logical question is labeled a conspiracy nut. They can’t effectively respond. Every debate is turned into Swiss cheese because their only justification amounts to you’re going to comply or we’ll hurt then ruin you. This is our degenerate government. I wonder what Hillary is thinking today. I hope she’s deposed soon rolled into the room in a wheelbarrow. The visual is very… Read more »

Where is a federal judge to issue an emergency stay of this executive order when we need one!

I just heard on the radio that Dr. Walensky was asked at the hearing today what percentage of CDC employees are vaccinated and she said they are giving out the necessary to inform the employees. So no answer. Again she was asked what % and she did not know. Maybe everyone there should be fined $14K. On the Rick Unger show he said maybe everyone at the CDC should be vaccinated for rabies. Unger was saying how certain people are exempt like the elite-those in power-most getting across the border but the plebes must comply. Had a good laugh.

An emergency temporary measure that doesn’t take effect for 2 months. What a load of BS
Yo, MoronPlease, it takes 6 weeks to become fully vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine. That only gives people two weeks to take their first dose. Put your special helmet on and let the big boys govern.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

Hmmm… you sound knowledgeable about the vaccines. If the vaccines don’t prevent Covid. Why are the vaccines mandatory? Something doesn’t add up!
Here’s some info on the declining effectiveness of the vaccines. It will seem likely that boosters will be required many times a year.

The virus is communism. SarsCov2 is just how it spreads. Public sector heroes are communist foot soldiers.
Public Sector Hero, huh.
Brandon, is that you? 😉
Why are you making fun of special-needs children?
