More than 130 city employees — mostly from Chicago Fire Department — file suit against city, state over vaccine mandates – WGNTV (Chicago)

The lawsuit alleges that the Sept. 3 executive order signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker “exceeds the authority granted to the governor and to governmental units granted by statute, and is therefore null and void as to the vaccine mandates complained of here.”

FDA hasn’t technically approved the Covid vaxes presently on market and actually available to vax-providers. Read the technical facts, and you realize these “mandates” aren’t enforceable IF courts follow the law. That’s a big IF in this politicized world we live in.

I am pretty sure all vials currently available are annotated with “emergency use authorization” and I think that means those can’t be forced on you.

Nice, this is similar to a recent lawsuit against the President as well by The Liberty Counsel – https://lc.org/newsroom/details/101521-military-federal-employees-and-civilian-contractors-sue-biden .

This may be another problem that could be overlooked. The injection of the vaccine is going into the blood stream not the muscle. Seems like some who administer the vaccine may not be as qualified as much as they should be.

Brandon can only mandate for the Executive Branch and You, he can’t touch Judiciary or Legislative Branches under the separation of powers. Not that it matters!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
