More Than Half of Migrants Forced to Leave City Shelters Immediately Returned, Chicago Officials Say – WTTW (Chicago)

The number of migrants arriving in Chicago has risen 4.8% in the past month, according to city officials. Fewer than 7,000 people were living in 17 city facilities as of Thursday, a 13 percent drop since May 6, according to city data.
