And there will be a lot more moving out when you add up the number of job losses because of all the businesses moving out of state or just closing their doors because of the high taxes.

“Davidson County Property Assessor Vivian Wilhoite’s office is wrapping up the countywide reappraisal of property values. This occurs every four years, as required by state law.
The property tax rate is automatically adjusted so city can’t take in more tax revenue after after a reappraisal, even if the the combined value of all property in Davidson County rose or fell. If property values increase, that means the rate must drop, as mandated by state law.”
But in 39 counties in Illinois who are under PTELL jurisdiction the taxing bodies will not get less than what was levied (not billed or collected) the year before regardless of property values. The tax rate will be adjusted to make sure they get what was received the year before plus a max of 5% or 1/2 of inflation whichever is less.
Gotta be a misprint??? JB says the population is growing, businesses are booming, crime is down, gun bans are constitutional, tax rate is not one of the highest in the country, taxpayers will pay for abortions and sex changes , illegals are treated like royalty while residents are peons
