Museum Campus improvements make sense whether Bears stay or not, parks advocate says – Chicago Sun-Times*

“All of these plans tend to be inspirational and visionary. There are part of them that don’t get done. But those that are related to lakeshore erosion are going to be particularly important. … And the city is gonna have to find ways to address these things," Friends of the Parks Executive Director Juanita Irizarry said.

Mike Ditka once said George Halas throws nickels around like man hole covers. Nothing has changed except a different Halas runs the Bears the organization didn`t spend $192,000,000 not to use it the BEARS are gone

The whole city is falling apart — and Lightfoot’s answer is to re-do the Museum Campus project — a project that was done in 1998? It’s kind of like when your untalented kid cuts a picture out of a magazine, glues on some macaroni and glitter, and calls it an original art project.
