A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
From what I understand, the Nashville growth is very real, sustainable and exponential. It’s not just some fad that will go boom and bust. The underlying fundamentals of better weather, red state politics, and no income tax are contributing to growth. Here’s the thing: IL wants people to move to Nashville. Because the people who are leaving are most likely conservative voters who oppose our one-party state politics. Disagree somewhat. I think the dictator personality wants and needs dissidents they can crush. They enjoy the power over those who try to resist. It’s not as fulfilling to their power lust to have only willing sheep bow to them- anyone can control the willing. True power comes from crushing the resisters.
My son just last weekend took a break to Nashville – He was stunned by the building boom.
I do agree that Democrats want all conservatives to move out of IL. Democrats do NOT want diversity of thought. I’m sure many who stay will comply and become serfs and hope it doesn’t get worse. Newsflash – it will get worse. Biden and Democrats getting reading to attack one of their favorite whipping horses – 1rst Amendment and religious liberty. Sure JB is in on it.
