Here’s a novel idea for property owners. Property taxes should be inversely proportional to the number of gunshots detected in an area. The more shots detected, the lower your real estate taxes. Might get the city to actually go after crime to get tax revenues up.
What to do, first buy a gun.
I know. Why don’t you make a law stating that gun owners in Hinsdale can’t own guns. Or better yet, make a law that people shouldn’t fire guns in the city. That should solve your problems. The precinct that contains the intersection of Spaulding and Berteau avenues in Chicago, in 2020, voted D+73, which is 85% for Biden and 12% for Trump. Their preferred candidate, Biden, has allowed tens of millions of illegal immigrants into the country, many of whom moved into relatively less expensive housing in Albany Park, several blocks north of this intersection.
