Non-Citizens in the U.S. Military Fact Sheet
What are the requirements for non-citizens to join the U.S. military? To join the U.S.
military, non-citizens must be living permanently and legally in the United States. Non-citizens must

Why not just hand the state over to the cartels?

What a hair brained idea from our bloviating guv’nor.

Guess the state isn’t going down the tubes fast enough. JB and BJ want to pick up the pace.

Isn’t there a background check requirement for law-enforcement recruitment? Doesn’t a “law-enforcement officer” position require applicant to not be a known felon, to have not committed any felonies? This is a wonderful idea. Let’s get a bunch of people who broke the law by coming here, continue to break the law by not reporting on time, and continue to break the law by faking asylum status– and make them law enforcement officers. I’m sure they will do a great job at law enforcement once they have a badge and a gun.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
