Jimmy Pawola, of the Kane County Regional Office of Education. says the number of homeless students they serve in Kane County has gone up 70 percent since 2022. He says it’s largely due to issues like rising rent and a lack of affordable housing.

If students are homeless due to rising rents it is truly tragic. It is also the direct result of disastrous economic policies of the Biden administration. Joe Biden has been an unmitigated disaster.
