M3 Strategies surveyed 459 likely 2026 Democratic primary election voters in Illinois
from October 23rd – October 25th.
Among the key findings:
- 42% of Democratic primary voters say violence is “sometimes” or “mostly”
acceptable to stop ICE, while 39% stated that it’s appropriate to physically pull ICE
officers away while they are trying to handcuff someone. - 81% of Democratic primary voters agree with the statement that “Trump and many of
his supporters are like Nazis.” - The vast majority (71%) of Democratic voters support Governor Pritzker doing “whatever it takes” to keep ICE and other federal law
enforcement out ofIllinois, and to stop the Feds from picking up and deporting undocumented immigrants in Illinois. - The vast majority (71%) of Democratic primary voters want ICE officers to be
prosecuted when Democrats take back control of the federal government.

Normally I have to vote the D primary since that’s where likely winners are selected. But for 2026 I understand there’ll be an important R candidate for Governor who needs support, so I guess I wouldn’t qualify for this survey.
Instead of entertaining garbage surveys like this, why not focus on cleaning up Illinois instead? Extremists could only muster up 100+ people protesting in Broadview – on weekends – after spamming every cell phone in the entire city of Chicago. Everyone I know in my ward, Burnett Jr., think the calls to action reek of desperation. A parade with a few dozen carrying the same NGO signs just doesn’t work like it used to. Good luck holding ground in a month when it’s cold.
That survey has some questionable language in it and seems a little extreme, even for Illinois. For example, “Do you believe that ICE officers are jack-booted thugs who are disappearing and kidnapping black and brown people?” Those kind of questions seem to just illicit the same kind of crazy responses from crazy people and feed the narrative that MSM is putting out there.
Well, I have not looked at their boots, but reportedly they are taking in people who look undocumented, and only eventually perhaps releasing them if they can provide documents. So the description seems mostly correct.

I think you miss the point. Undocumented immigrants are about money and power. The left, particularly in a state like Illinois, has relied on this population. Beyond your MSN talking points, the basic point is there are immigration laws that have been broken, there are millions of people in this country that crossed the boarder who were not in anyway vetted to know who they are and Law Enforcement is now correcting the immigration mistake by the previous administration.
