As are the people who WILLINGLY remain in Illinois and fund this corruption.
Just like Russians that stay in Russia and fund/enable Adolf Putler.

Kind of reminds me how the blacks are opposed to migrant shelters in their neighborhood, their position is “where’s ours”. That’s the same thing every business in Illinois should be asking Pritzker, where’s ours?

That Pritzker would write such an awful letter, presumably with the expectation that it will work for him, illuminates again both how thoughtful JB thinks he needs to be, and how smart he thinks the rest of us (supporters and “irrelevant” Republicans alike) are-n-aren’t.

He’s an arrogant buffoon. Pride before the fall type of thing. JB’s ancestor once wrote, “Pride comes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall.”

Yep, all true.

The good news is that JB’s response certainly isn’t going to accomplish much in the way of getting this story out of the news cycle.

It’s a target rich environment for credible criticism.

Let’s hope he gets lots….

JBs letter makes no mention of the $1/2 billion in Illinois taxpayer bucks or $billions in fed taxpayer bucks being forked over to Gotion (CCP) for 2,600 jobs?

If this company was a Chinese Taiwanese company, would there be as many objections? It’s not xenophobia against the Chinese, it’s against the CCP. Pritzker has to be called out on the difference.

Illinois continues to lose businesses, and that is born out in the numbers regularly reported. His Royal Highness praises the “trillions” invested by the Chinese, casting a blind eye to the ongoing technology theft that the US Government acknowledges they commit. Now he brings them into our own backyard and hands them tax credits all day long! And while it would be easy to further dissect the letter word by word to demonstrate how… Read more »

OMG, this letter by Pritzker was a very bad idea. He is so arrogant. This will be an exhibit in the criminal trial(s).

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
