New study: Violence, aggression against educators reaching concerning levels – DePaul University

Rates of violence and aggression against educators are high — and in many cases have risen from pre-COVID-19 levels — leading teachers to suffer mental health consequences and to consider quitting the profession. A new study led by DePaul University psychologist Susan Dvorak McMahon reveals the extent of the problem across our nation’s schools as well as recommendations for the field.

“Over 50% of participants indicated they need training in trauma-informed practices, de-escalation strategies, restorative justice practices, socioemotional learning approaches, working with diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural groups, behavioral management, threat assessment, and staff team building.” LOL, they are committed ideologues. This shows the problems with these people. They claim the fancy title of “educators,” yet they fail as teachers and seem to do more harm than good!

Maybe if educators, you know, taught the 3R’s, instead of, at worst, transing the children, or at best, turning them into lifelong loyal Democrats, maybe the aggression and anger towards ‘teachers’ would dissipate. But no, they are committed ideologues, and the only way to make them stop is to drive them out of teaching altogether. I called out one of my son’s teacher several weeks ago for some LBGTQ nonsense ‘they’ (as in a pr0noun freak) was pushing in my local school.
