Alderpeople Daniel La Spata and Jessie Fuentes, who hosted the meeting, pointed to Mayor Johnson's initiative to engage Chicago youth, as a big part of the long-term solution. In the short term, they believe talking about the problem will make people feel safer.

It really gets pretty boring listening to these whiners and complainers who are sleeping in the sloppy dangerous bed they made for themselves. Are they really that stupid that they can’t figure out that they are living in the environment they are voting for over and over again.
