Northwestern Experts Say Lifting Mask Mandates ‘Is Clearly Not a Decision Based on Data’ – NBC5 (Chicago)

Said Mercedes Carnethon, vice chair of preventive medicine at Feinberg, “The timing of this is very poor because in Illinois, it’s still very cold so our kids are forced to spend most of their days indoors. It would be one thing in the summer or the late spring when more things can be done outside where transmission rates are lower.”

“Continuing his criticism of the ruling, Pritzker claimed Grischow has “created a tremendous amount of confusion” in regard to the way the decision was written.”

I see JB because your metrics and data are real clear on this. Kinda sucks to be in your position, all your supporters want you to do one thing but you don’t have the science/data to back it up.

Doctors are now politicians too. Bullies all of them. And the genius used the word “clearly”, that’s usually the first sign some BS is about to be emitted.

Masks don’t work. There’s virtually no data to support that masks do anything. The virus particles are so much smaller than any of the holes it’s scientifically and physically impossible.

These people are looney tunes.

And they wonder why folks are filled with rage…

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
