Northwestern ‘Refusing To Pay Fair Share’ For Fire Dept: Aldermen – Patch Evanston

"I would hope the community is appalled by the fact that we would even say something like, 'if we could get Northwestern to agree to pay for the fire service.' Because their not agreeing to pay for the fire service means that our community has an additional $658,986 attached to their real estate tax bill for this bill," one alderman said.

It will be interesting to see how successful one woke entity will be as it attempts to shame/extort/shakedown resources from another woke entity.
CertainlY Northwestern could use this as a way to support reparation payments which on the woke-meter scores more highly than scholarships and faculty salaries.
