Nearly a year after Northwestern Pritzker School of Law lost its dean to a role within the broader university, it has found a successor: Hari Osofsky, an energy transition and climate change scholar who is currently dean of Penn State Law.
A Northwestern degree doesn’t mean what it used to, and it didn’t take long for that to happen. Expect the decline to continue.

It’s sad to watch the legitimacy of a Northwestern Degree fall below that of Phoenix University.
When I meet NW grads, and I know quite a few, I immediately say, “Man, that sucks to have to watch your school beclown itself. Your degree is now a joke and worthless.” Most don’t take it well; but the observers all vigorously nod their heads in agreement.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
