‘Not something we would be able to manage’: More migrant buses are arriving in Wilmette and even more may be on the way – North Shore Record

Many nearby suburbs — including Glencoe, Winnetka and Highland Park — have passed similar regulations as Chicago, banning unscheduled bus stops. Wilmette has not, and it has become the primary destination for Chicago-bound migrants. More than 50 migrant buses have arrived to the Wilmette Metra station since the new year. Approximately half of those have come in the past three weeks.

Those Take Care packages, decorated with hearts and Bienvenidos messages, definitely show empathy and caring for illegals as they are escorted out of town to be someone else’s problem. And did they mention that TX governor Greg Abbott cruelly sent these people here?

It’s spring, so after handing out the thoughtful Take Care packages, residents will retrieve their Hate Has No Home Here, No Human is Illegal signs to display prominently in their yards. They will heave a self-satisfied sigh. All is right with their world.

Wow, I had no idea the migrant busses were still coming. I consider myself up to date on the news but just wow. This is a secret they’re not supposed to report.
