Oak Park is full of well meaning know it alls. What will they say to a person who shows up at a town board meeting to comment on the subject, someone who had gender confusion at a young age, transitioned through use of medicines, only to realize, too late, after permanent and irreversible bodily effects, that they were just confused youths, not transgender. They will say, sincerely, we feel badly about that, but…

To be clear:

Oak Park is declaring it is okay with minors, people who are unable to sign a contract or vote, or even drink legally, making decisions that are potentially irreversible about their bodies.

Adults are free to do whatever they want and there is no one declaring otherwise.
