Obama Wins Another Round Against Community Organizers – Wall Street Journal

"The former president should thank the current one for helping him build in Chicago.... Judge—now Justice—Barrett wasn’t necessarily endorsing Mr. Obama’s idea of clearing treasured green space to realize his vision of a self-tribute in stone and glass. She was simply applying the law as written, without regard to politics."

The silliest part of this whole tribute is the idea to create a high quality golf course out of Jackson Park and South Shore golf courses. This can’t be done for less than $75/round green fees. It will be a waste. No one will drive through this area until the crime is eliminated!

Think about this for a second. If YOUR property is deemed “historic” by a city board, you will deal with much, much tighter restrictions on your property through landmark zoning. You want to add a different type of window, gutter etc? You better get approval and will most likely be denied–ON YOUR OWN HOUSE!

Now, the federal government/city are going to look the other way while a man destroys a listed historic public owned park. Liberty is becoming a myth.

An outhouse with a view of a septic field would be too much of a tribute for Bath House Barry
