Where’s Peter Cushing when you need him? I need to start wearing some garlic and keep a wooden stake handy.
He’ll probably run for office and win hands down sorry (Fangs Down).

I wish the Black caucus would see and read stories like this, and for once, maybe hesitate for a second before ending cash bail. But they won’t, because progressivism is a religion, and they’ll double down on bad ideas before admitting they were wrong.

They dont care, period. This race baiting black crowd has been on the bandwagon of police bad, and we be suppressed and we be victims has been going on since the 1960’s. It’s never the black community’s fault, it’s never the lack of family structure, it’s never the no baby daddy, it’s never the generational welfare, it’s never the lack of a moral compass, it’s always the white man who’s causing our problems. They are race hustlers and make a substantial living playing the race card for everything. They dont care!

If I’m not mistaken a few years back some Illinois senator or rep proposed a bill that a fathers name should be on the birth certificate. Simple! I think it was something about having another responsible adult for the child since there must be a father involved to produce a child. It was less than 48 hours later that bill was deemed racist for some reason and the bill was withdrawn due to threats or something. In my opinion the senators big mistake was that it would have been good to know who the father is so there can be… Read more »

The state actually dislikes giving aid to single mothers because it’s so expensive. It’s the people at the local level, administering the aid, and helping mothers fill out the paperwork, they’re the ones who give away aid like candy, and help the single mothers cheat on the paperwork. The State is required by federal (and state) law to recover from the father any aid given to the unmarried, single mother. Every county in Illinois has its own child support system set up to collect support from deadbeat dads. The State’s Attorney collects child support in larger counties and the AG’s… Read more »

Well stated. The reason I brought this up is a former tenant of mine somehow was involved or just knew someone that was a case worker and went to see single parents who were applying and they asked questions like who is the male in this room and if he is the father the benefits will be less and I will come back later and make sure there is no male here. This also happened at a Sen Stadelman town hall a while back and someone asked why does the state promote single parenthood by giving more benefits and quite… Read more »

IDK who presented the bill. But you’ve seen the situations where the case workers give away the aid.

How did we get to the point where the Dems openly support criminals over law abiding citizens, yet they win the elections (both national and local)? And they accuse conservatives of being domestic terrorists? How has this happened in our country??

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
