‘Once and for all’: SCOTUS asked to strike down IL ‘assault weapons’ ban, end ‘defiance’ from states, courts – Cook County Record

Attorneys representing the National Association for Gun Rights, the National Shooting Sports Federation, and the Firearms Policy Coalition, with the Illinois State Rifle Association and others, filed three separate petitions asking the U.S. Supreme Court to step in now to end the "defiance" of Gov. JB Pritzker, Illinois Democrats and judges in Illinois and elsewhere who, the petitioners say, have all but thumbed their nose at recent Supreme Court decisions upholding Americans' rights to keep and bear arms under the Second Amendment.

Can one gun grabbing, firearm hating politician explain how a registered firearm cannot be used by a crazy person or a vicious, violent criminal to go on a shooting spree? Restraining orders in domestic violence cases are a piece of paper that won’t stop domestic violence. Parole, probation, deferred prosecution, court supervision does not stop criminals from being criminals. The only answer is to vigorously prosecute people who commit crimes with firearms. Long sentences in prison, no parole, 100% of sentence served would be a more effective solution than hand slaps and making law abiding, never arrested citizens criminals because… Read more »

Judicial hacks still think we live in a democracy under majority rule. “Article. V.
