People in prison for life account for 10% of the population, so if 90% of these people are coming out, of the most inhumane circumstances and we don’t help them, they go right back into the neighborhoods they just left."

Reading her interview, all I saw was obfuscation and delusion. This woman is a clear menace.

Kim Foxx points to the low clearance rate for violent crimes, and says that she cannot prosecute until the offenders are arrested. That is true. But what she doesn’t mention is that very few violent offenders have never been arrested before. The police actually have arrested these people, usually several times. The criminal justice system finds ways to keep putting them back in the community, where they terrorize other residents. We all know that law-abiding residents do not fear the police.
