According to totals in both counties, the “yes” votes came to 4,149 and the “no” votes came to 4,150. Said Kendall County Clerk Debbie Gillette, “If you chose not to vote for it at all, your vote could have made a difference in this particular election."

There was a political action committee formed in favor of the referendum that raised around $9,000 and it still lost against no opposition. Bravo, Oswego!
