Yes, but this a red herring, a distraction. The piece suggests that to ‘combat’ gerrymandering the solution is to pass HR 1 which makes legal all of the worst voting laws in the country like: voting season instead of election day, ballot harvesting, no voter ID laws, absentee ballots for any reason, mailed ballots to all registered voters, real or fake, alive or dead, not allowing regular and routine voter roll purges, etc. And they know too that ‘non-partisan’ map drawing commissions are anything but.
