Opinion: I’m calling on Chicago’s business leaders: Here’s a way you can help our city end the violence – Chicago Sun-Times*

Pastor Corey Brooks: "I hope it’s becoming clear to every Chicagoan that a city is not a collection of disconnected neighborhoods. It’s a single system, like the human body — and like the body, when part of the city is hurting, it affects the entire system. In the same vein, something amazing happens when a part of the body is injured: the entire system marshals its resources to heal the part that is vulnerable. That’s the response we need from our city."

Direct your comments directly at the black community, the non existence fathers, the women who bear children to any man who they meet, the gang bangers, drug dealers and basic lack of any moral compass of a majority i6f the black community, yes I mean that. Go directly to the cause and dont blame others for that failed race.

Businesses have lost multiple millions at the hands of Chicago. I think many are growing tired of contributing to the community with zero results. Maybe empty offices and store fronts can be utilized for community outreach to teens and young adults. Why don’t Jesse and Bobby go around to CEO’s and put the arm on them? Oh! Nobody is returning their calls!!
