Parents blast Gov. JB Pritzker for extending student financial aid to undocumented immigrants – FOX News

Michelle Cunney, an Illinois mother and local Parents’ Rights in Education chapter leader, called the new law a "nightmare." She said that under Pritzker’s leadership, "we know that the children who are not here legally will get … more of a chance and an opportunity to get scholarships and everything than our children, because to Pritzker, and so many others, we are not important. We are not anything other than money."

I love it when all the people who voted how their unions told them to vote ,get kicked right in the teeth by the guy they voted for. Karma is a beech

Hmm.. a little late to the party, teech. Lots of people figured Pritzger out when he jerked the toilets out of his mansion. How many of your fellow union members have voted for him since then?

If I am to take take your umbrage seriously please tell me you are equally outraged with President Trump as the first American elected to that office in spite of numerous bankruptcies stiffing his workers and lenders as well as multiple felony convictions. I can’t believe you’d disparage Prizker and be a Trump supporter, too. Don’t be schizophrenic here, please. Look in the mirror, and tell me you are not two-faced.

Gosh, we are waiting for the uber virtuous lefties to call out their own side. Odd that the purveyors of virtue expect those of us who are clearly inferior to take the first step to righteousness. Seems a little hypocritical.

Financial aid should be or IL US citizens, not illegals. They are not entitled to any benefits, since they are not citizens. But we all know Pritzker puts illegals over citizens and criminals.

Illegal immigrants are entitled to taxpayer-funded benefits according to the mismanagers running Illinois. Wouldn’t it be cool if we had managers running Illinois?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
