"Is she really equating parents seeking an education for their kids outside of traditional district schools with dictators seeking autocratic control? That’s rich. Even more offensive, she professed that there are people who might run for the school board who 'never intended for Black people to be educated.' Do these racists include the charter school advocates who are seeking to expand public educational choices for children in poverty? We can only hope her words are hyperbole. Either way, she just insulted the families of almost 52,000 Black and Latino Chicago charter school children."

Stacy can’t be racist. They changed the definition of racism to prejudice plus power. And since Stacy as a black woman experiences prejudice, and black women have no power, she therefore can say whatever she wants and it cannot be racist.
Say nothing of the fact that she probably interactions with few white people any given day, and that she’s in charge of the union that runs the city. None of that matters.
