"Here in Chicago, we witnessed public schools’ failure to make adjustments to reopen safely and restore quality in-person instruction. Traditional public schools — burdened by centralized bureaucracy, state and federal mandates, and collective bargaining agreements — simply aren’t designed to adapt or innovate in real time, even when an emergency arises."
The Chicago Arch may not be up to the task, if given school choice. They need to get their own house in order – it is already seems to be growing into an extension of CPS. They need to drop the politics and get back to the reason they lasted for generations. GOD.

Sounds good. But I’m not so sure Vallas can be trusted, wasn’t he once a part of the whole CPS dumpster fire himself? A tiger can’t change his stripes.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
