June 19- Looking more and more likely that the US will get involved in Iran war. Iran will strike back, and then CRAZY TRUMP may use the NUKE. Very dangerous times. Citizens are nothing but cannon fodder.
I like to think that even Trump isn’t that crazy. One thing for sure is that we only know a fraction of what is really going on. But one thing we do know, as I see it, is that Iran was defeated as soon as Israel got air superiority. Israel could now bring the entire Iranian economy to its knees if it wanted. It can take its time systematically destroying all Iran’s military assets, and letting any anti-regime movements bloom. I would think Trump will let that play out before thinking we need to get involved.
Do not be so sure, Trump wants to be remembered in history. Dropping a nuclear bomb will do it. He is an ego maniac.

So what? Republicans have jobs, families, and varied interests outside of politics, unlike the crowd of geriatric white people and paid activists at these gatherings. Republicans are not going to give up a day with their families to yell at clouds like the TDS crowd.

Your problem is that there are probably not millions more who stayed home. The fear of cancellation is too strong. We know that at least 20% support the Dems no matter what. They came out on Saturday. It doesn’t indicate any more than what we already knew.

The MN assassin, that once worked for Tim Waltz, just a few days ago was an anti-Trump ‘normie’. Waltz and Democrats (Pritzker included) have been calling for violence. That was the real goal of the NGO funded ‘No Kings’ gatherings. Fortunately, was a enormous failure.
He has no history of being anti-Trump. More the opposite. He was appointed to that board before Waltz took office and rubber-stamped his extension.
Why don’t the Democrats hold rallies where people can go to listen to speeches and “make their voices heard” for whatever they wish to protest? Certainly they have enough money and organization to set up gatherings at defined locations.
Instead, they always choose to inconvenience others by clogging up public streets, even expressways. It almost seems like they prefer to invite trouble and confrontation.
Millions of Americans came out to protest TRUMP. In less than 5 months he has alienated the country.

As I commented earlier, I went downtown to check out No Kings. it was very peaceful. As one news outlet put it “almost family friendly”. Parents with their kids from the burbs, seniors, etc…What was most interesting was crowd was overwhelmingly white (90%??) and mostly middle age. Hardly any black folks….All in all you got to say city and cpd did a great job. Nationally not good for DJT.

People there had all kinds of reasons for protesting, many of which are wrongheaded, but from what I can tell many were generally unhappy with Trump’s excessive views about presidential authority and the scope of his executive orders. In light of the Supremacy clause, please define “excessive views on Presidential authority and the scope of his presidential authority”.
As to people being “unhappy” with his “excessive” authority, his poll numbers have RISEN since the L.A. riots started, according to CNN.
His popularity with LEGAL immigrants has risen 40% in the last 5 years, according to CNN.
Some examples that bother me: 1) Impounding money that was already appropriated by Congress. Congress is supposed to have power over the purse and it should keep it. Some of his impoundments have been legal and appropriate and some have not. Trump is asking courts to entirely invalidate the Anti-Impoundment Act.
