crowdsondemand.com. I didn’t realize this was real. There actually is a company who coordinates and organizes demonstrations and pays participants $25/hour. You can send them an email and request a quote for short or prolonged protest campaigns. This is pathetic.

At least in Chicago, the protest is peaceful. Unlike in CA. Rioters were violent in LA before the national guard was called in. Violence is why the Guard was called in.

Anyone sneaking in, rather that coming here properly, shouldn’t complain ir be surprised if they are caught, regardless of whether they are criminal or not. And no one should be seeking to justify their continued presence. Yet here we are. Why is following proper immigration procedure not an option? Yes, it takes time but that is no excuse. Legal immigration is necessary, illegal is not.

Yeah. I agree. I also agree that the speed limit is there for a reason, and driving over it is illegal. So is embezzlement, and breaking campaign finance laws, and intentionally misreporting income and expenses. All these things are illegal, and have a negative impact on society.

No due process when they arrived; no due process when they’re deported.

See how simple?

If they are American citizens what are they protesting about ? They’re legal, the others aren’t. Also them being here is taking a toll on the budget. You can’t ask for more police or major community upgrades and also expect the rest of us to support both through taxes

“ Crowds on Demand “ folks don’t care about the issue at hand. They are told to march, march, march and pick up their pittance at the end of their shift. Whether protesting Trump, ICE, Tesla or Israel, they do as told.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
