The mental health whatever’s are refusing to respond without police escorts. So to avoid looking militant in our response we’ll call it partnering or co-respondents! They’ll be going in with those poles with a noose on the end! Badger poles!
Cops can’t wear all the hats and this program has promise … until the first mental health worker is injured or killed.
With the absolute distain that Chicagoans demonstrate for first responders, it probably won’t be long.
Do the professionals bring their sofas with them? The distraught need a place to relax and err their grievances. Maybe a Festivus Pole? Much easier to transport.
