Poll reveals dissatisfaction and mistrust in government over tax spending – WICS (Springfield)

According to a recent AP-NORC poll, a significant 67% feel the weight of federal income taxes is too burdensome. The sentiment extends to 62% for state sales tax and a notable 69% for local property taxes. High confidence in local school districts spending tax dollars wisely is at a mere 16%, with local government not faring much better at 11%.
