In a Morning Consult poll on popularity of governors, Pritzker finished 42nd on the list with a 44% approval rating and a 33% disapproval rating. Another 21% were undecided. At the bottom of the list was Ned Lamont, a Democrat from Connecticut, with a 32% favorable rating. Curiously, eight of the bottom 10 governors are Democrats. The only two Republicans in the bottom 10 are Jim Justice of West Virginia and Matt Bevin of Kentucky. Contrast that with the top 10, who all happen to be Republicans.
The sad part is the number of people who were naive/dumb enough to believe his campaign promises to begin with.
He’s actually fulfilling his campaign promises. Late term abortion for any reason is now encouraged. The new tax scheme is on the ballot next year. He increased taxes across the board for everyone, just as he promised, with all the motor vehicle taxes. Casinos, weed, you name it. The problem with Illinois is that this is what people wanted, and it’s what they got. And that’s why Charlie Kirk left.
In my neck of the woods I keep hearing “it wasn’t presented right” by assorted know it alls who now find the actuality yet refuse to believe it was their own lack of knowledge about the issues.
Yep, far be it for most to admit they bet on the wrong horse.
The progressives I know downtown (Chicago) are all throwing their fists in the air over this recent legislation.
he’s really “standing up to Trump” whatever the hell that meant in his idiotic commercials… voters in Illinois are freaking idiots
