Poll: Who won the Pritzker-Bailey debate? – WGNTV (Chicago)

An unscientific form of poll that is still in progress, but as of Saturday morning, Bailey up 57% to Pritzker's 43%.

A poll conducted in Cook/County/Chicago had Pritzger win 123% to 9%. All cemeteries voted solidly for JB.

I don’t understand why this article inserts some polling data with no demographics of the people being polled. If you win the debate, are you not more likely to vote for that candidate, what’s the purpose of a debate. I am sure the polling was heavily weighted to Chicago. The tie must feel ever tightening around the neck of our LoL govenor JB. Wow Mr. Bailey was 14% higher than JB, we have to get out and vote.

Vote on the day, as late as possible, to make it very difficult for the Democrats to steal the election with fake ballots / machine gerrymandering. Do not mail in a ballot.

Blow up their algorithms.

What I gathered from the debates is that the moderators seemed to not let Bailey have a rebuttal except for a few items when he was accused on something. The moderators said on to the next question. I agree with you. They always seemed to rush through for lack of time, or something, and did not give Bailey a chance to respond — which I thought was against their predetermined rules.

And it was funny how whenever Bailey was speaking, the other guy would pretend to be ignoring him by copiously taking notes,as if to say “You are not worthy of my even listening to what you have to say, peasant.” . What an ignoramus!

If your news outlets- WP, IPI, WSJ, Daily Herald, Ganett publications, lee enterprise your obviously part of the “right wing carnival barker”/ fake news complex conspiracy. Only officially machine sanctioned/ machine taxpayer-union dues funded news/research sources can be trusted. If your a reporter or researcher and are not shoe-shinning for the machine (from crains to ST) then your part of the problem…the people have spoken!!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
