Will the many illegal immigrants ending up in IL be counted for future counts of IL’s population? If so, that’s another way to downplay IL’s population loss.
yes, they are counted. This was something trump tried to stop during his presidency, but was unsuccessful. So places with lots of Illegal immigrants get more representation in congress than states with fewer illegal immigrants.
