The move was prompted by an influx of visitors in recent weeks, and concerns that many guests are ignoring the social distancing rules that have been established to stem the spread of COVID-19, Preckwinkle said.

A lot of those preserves are in white neighborhoods where people actually pay real estate taxes. Gotta show whitey who’s boss

Near Busse woods in local communities such as Rolling Meadows, Palatine, Elk Grove, are large apartment buildings filled with hispanic day laborers and low wage workers. Multiple families often share tiny, cramped apartments, and the workers often live there in shifts, as in day shift, evening shift, and so on. Two 30 hour a week jobs = 60 hours a week and a decent living at a low wage with limited expenses.
